I have shiny hew Bontrager Race Lite Tubeless wheels with Michelin Wildgripper Comp Lite S Tubeless 'Nagesti' tires. After not riding for 3 weeks (hiking in Rockies!) I got home to find 'em absolutely flat and with no bead seal. I'll have to add tire-pumping to the house-sitter's list of duties. Pumped like mad - no luck. Read the Owner's Brochure (!) and after struggle, I managed to get one inflated. However:
1)I removed the other valve stem just to see how it worked. After I put it back in I can't get the bead to settle down inside the rim. I can't get the bead properly sealed just by the valve.
2)I imagine you must keep the seal area clean like brain surgery. I've heard of various compounds applied to the bead to improve seal.
3)How do you get tires on and off without damaging the bead seal areas?
4)How do you reinflate these babies with a mini-pump, 20 miles from the nearest compressor?

Did I buy sexy new technology before it's really ready for triathlete doofusses? Any ideas?
