I like some of your casting choices for your Lance movie, but with action masters Arnold and Will as foils to our hero, Lance, I believe that The Rock would be a better choice than Jim Carry.

I am sticking with The Rock as Lance, but I think Vince would be a great addition to the cast as Greg Lemond. Whenever Lance wins on the Ring of Death (Champs-Elysees) Vince can sit and grouse about how much harder it is to come back from shotgun trauma than it is to recover from cancer. The Rock can reply with a forearm smash while Chris Carmichael in Mr. Miyagi form helps out with a folding chair.

There's one called "2 seconds" about a French female downhiller that loses a big downhill race by 2 seconds and is subsequently booted from her pro team. She then goes on to become a bicycle messenger. It's a little hard to find and it's subtitled but it's pretty good.

I love this movie but it isnt french it is French-Canadian just to clear this up.
