I would prefer double eyelets on the front forks of my MTB (my commuter special) but where do you find them? I am also wondering if there is a touring bike besides the Sakkit that comes with 460 chainstays 440 seems to be the longest for mass produced bikes.

What for? To put a front carrier on?

If so, I could send you a picture of a bracket I made that is clamped on by the quick release and allowed me to mount a front carrier on my MTB

Thanks I have a front rack mounted now by drilling and tapping the surface where the fender eyelets are on my suspension forks then using some long hardened bolts and nuts to clear the suspension for the rack not the best setup but good for commuting. When the suspension forks wear out and I learn how to camp I would like to change to solid forks with double eyelets and have a go at touring/camping.
