MTB Jumping

Currently doing a fair bit of jumps and drops (not huge jumps or drops, probably 2-3 feet max) and have full confidence in my bike (KHS Alite 2000) to handle this well. Would my jumping and dropping fun be increased by a jump-oriented MTB (as opposed to a trail/singletrack oriented bike such as mine), thinking along the lines of the kona "dirt jumping" series style of geometry. (not limiting myself to that brand, just that style). Current bike is also a 19" which i think is probably too big for focusing on that kind of thing. Of course i'll have fun either way, just curious as to whether my fun would be increased with a new bike.

Any suggestions, comments, or recommendations?

It depends on the kind of riding you want to do. If you only want to do jumps, then maybe your bike isn't sufficient. Otherwise, you can learn to jump with your bike. It's not that hard. There are several posts already on this forum about technique, etc. Good luck!
