The lad cycles to school each day, all of a mile, if that. He uses a
Speciazized HRXC, a rigid MTB.
In a bid to cut down the amount of washing needed, I've finally fitted
a set of mudguards to it. These are SKS 26 inch x 60mm, branded as
suitable for 26 x 1.90 tyres which he has.
The front fork geometry together with the reach of the front fork tab
on the guard mean that the front guard has to go over the front brake.
This looks slightly odd andmeans the front brake will posibly be more
water bathed than usual. It also means the front guard is about and
inch and hlf clear of the tyre.
Is this going to be a problem?
