Murphy's Law

Today was clearly not my day. Coming back from a routine commuting run,
the front rim banged as I entered the drive. Front tyre not back, which
was an absolute cow to get off for some reason. Valve separated from
seating.
Tossed that, bunged in the spare and headed down the hill to the LBS,
emerged with two new tubes. Sad sight: front tyre pancaked again.
Straight out hole this time, I located the offending bit of glass.
Inserted one of the new tubes and will keep the now thrice patched old
one as a second spare.
We all have this gee-whiz technology to talk with. But your entire day
can be deflated by that itty-bitty glass fragment.
Cheers,
Ray
