MX Comp. ETAs

Hi Tim

I have some MX Comp ETA's (2003) and have had no problems
whatsoever so far. They're great forks and the ETA is
definately worthwhile having. I wouldn't buy any forks
without some form of lockout now. My only critisism of
Marzocchi is they don't do a remote lockout kit for the ETA.

Mine are 105mm restricted to 85mm as I'm on a 1" steerer.
Currently at Windwave having a 1 1/8" steerer pressed in as
I have a new frame. As soon as I get them back, I'll remove
the restrictor to get the full 105mm. :-)

[*] did have a slight concern about replacing 65mm
travel forks with something longer. Google, Marzocchi's
pages & a tape measure suggest the distance between
bottom headset race and axle is comparible. (455mm on
the Jett & 458/478mm for 85/105mm MX Comp.) My maths
suggests that should't make for badness. Again if I'm
wrong, please shout🙂
