Hi all.

I hope this is posted in the correct forum. My apologies ahead of time if it isn't.

I was given an old female's bike for my daughter. I don't know what kind of bike it is since there's no logo to be found, but if anyone can tell me I'd appreciate it.

When I tried to pump up the tires, my pump nozzles wouldn't fit onto the tire's valve. I say nozzles with plural because my pump has two nozzles: one for a schrader valve (car tire size) and one for a presta valve (smaller) . Yet, nether fit on this strange (strange to me) valve.

The schrader valve seems too big while the presta valve seems too small. Have I overlooked something here? is this some kind of rare tire/tube that someone like me should just avoid and replace? Thanks.

I don't know much about bikes so I'll list all the details.

Here are the details of the rim:
Van Schothorst
HB575 X 25 (26 x 1.90)
OI 97
Holland

Details of the tire:
Kenda
26 x 1.75
40 - 65 PSI

^Front valve^

^Rear valve^

Those are Schrader valves, so if your pump accommodates Schrader valves, it should work.

Thanks alienator. It seems loose on the valve, but I'll try and try again.

(Not sure why my sentence has a line break).
