hi there

first, i'm new here and sorry for my bad english

i really need some advice...

my good old trek 9800 oclv got stolen just yesterday. i just loved that bike, it's handling was very good. i'm sure i can never get it back.

i have to say that i'm not a hardcore rider but i got the chance to get that bike about 5 or 6 years ago for half its price. i was really impressed. a complete new way of riding a bike. and i never had serious problems with it, except the usual things...

so what's an good alternative offer? it should be a trek with a oclv frame again...

price? my insurance is gonna pay me the full catalog price... :)

thanks a lot

Welcome to the forums!

The only OCLV hardtail is the Elite 9.8.
Or you will have to go full suspension, like the upper Fuel range.

I'm suprised nobody rides Specialized bikes here. I think you can find a Specialized FSR (full suspension) bike for close to the 1 grand mark (US).
