  1. Edited highlights of my weekend on bikes:

Bob Yak, tandem, panniers, solo, pannier all on train to Lewes and
then Firle. (Thanks Martin M for the clues)

Tents up, ride to meet rest of tandem club at Fletching for BEER.

Ride back to Firle via Lewes. A hairy morris dancer outside a pubbe
shouts "That's a Pino". I award him 2 points for recognition skills.

Coffee, cakes, shower at Firle. Chat with Steve W on his Ryan
Recumbent. Chat with Darth Ian of Future Cycles. Drool over misc.
    recumbents.

Then BEER and curry, followed by BEER and a band or two.

Coffee, bacon and sossidges for brekko, off to watch the hill climb up
Firle Beacon. The Tandem Club Massive perch on the hillside
applauding every rider grinding their way up. A rider rounds the
bend, giving it his all. A phone rings. He reaches into his back
pocket "Can't talk now Dad, I'm racing". We laugh.

Ride off to Middle Farm (all of 4km away) for more coffee and cakes,
then onward to Chiddinglye and The Six Bells for BEER and food.

Stop in at Berwick church to look at the murals, then back to Firle,
whip tents down and charge off to Glynde station and catch train with
a minute to spare. Leave bidon on the platform.

    Another Good Weekend.

    Tim
