My doctor has diagnosed me with myocarditis. The following blood scan
was made to diagnose the myocarditis.

I have been on antibiotics since 7/29/03 except for a 3 day break
(8/4/2003 to 8/6/2003). 2 weeks prior to this I had an inflamed gum
and 2 days after having my teeth cleaned at the dentist I started to
get breast pain on the left side. The symptoms got worse every day. I
am a semi pro bike rider and since I've had these symtoms my
performance has decreased. I started to take a break from sports, but
the symptoms remained . I consulted a doctor who prescribed Penicillin
for 5 days. The symptoms weakened at first but came back after 2 days
off the antibiotics. I received Penicillin for another 2 weeks. The
symptoms are still there but not a bad as before. My resting heart
rate is kind of weird. In the morning before I wake up it can be 60
and during the afternoon it is 40. When my symptoms of breast pain
first occured they were extremely severe at night. My normal resting
heartrate ranges between 38 and 42 which is normal for people who do
endurance sports. An ultra sound of the heart as well as a EKG was
made without any strange result.
What can I do to confirm Myocarditis especially in a case where no
fever occured before and no virus is involved. Is there any special
tests available for this type of thing?
