National Bike Registry

Has anyone registered their bike with the National Bike Registry (http://www.nationalbikeregistry.com/)? Any success stories (bikes recovered) or is it a waste of money?

its only 10$ for 10 years; so why not? if your bike is stolen you may only have a 1/1000 chance of finding it (I have no clue what the real odds are). but if it is infact found with this service, the 1$ a year you spent sure seems like a good buy.

When i cleaned up my bike (ie took all of the cheesy stickers off of it) i left one sticker...this small red and silver reflective sticker certifies that in 1973 someone registered my bike in the state of Minnesota...it is the only way that i can get some kind of date as of how old my bike is since there is no information on the Sekai company anywhere on the internet!!
