National Team graduate John Devine inks deal with Discovery

John Devine became the latest graduate of USA Cycling's National Development Team to sign a contract with a UCI ProTour squad, the highest level of professional cycling in the world. Devine joins current rising stars Tyler Farrar and Saul Raisin and Tour de France stage winner Dave Zabriskie as world-class athletes who have gotten exposure to European road racing through USA Cycling's Belgium-based development progam. Devine's recent signing marks the eighth time an athlete has graduated from the development ranks at USA Cycling to a UCI ProTour outfit.
