    Hi All.
I recently bid for a charity event a chance to ride with Lance Armstrong for Ride for the Roses in Austin Texas on Oct. 23. I did it more for charity than anything but now I'm being sort of pressed to go by the foundation to go.
It includes airfare, hotel and a private ride with Lance and of course the luncheon and party. Oh did I mention I do not ride bikes !
I need to buy a bike, that I guess is fast but super easy and comfortable for someone who doesn't ride. What do you all recommend ?

I recommend that you donate the tickets to me. This will save you from the expense of a bike purchase, sore bottom and feeling like a over stuffed sausage when putting on the cycling clothes and standing next to Lance. Borrow a bike and have fun.

You can have 2 out of the 3, easy and comfy are all you can get, fast will take time and pain.
