  1. i just sold my left and part of my right kidney for me new Bianchi Luna, my wonderful Trek 1000 that introduced me to this sport lost its upgraded wheel set to the new scoot.

I'm looking for suggestions on the cheapest wheel set to put on my Trek 1000 , I'm turning this bike into my city bike...

    Thanks for the help.

    Chck nashbar for cheap wheels.

  3. Some good prices there, I know my Trek 1000 is an 8 in the rear, is there any specific type of wheel set I need to purchase, or will I be able to fit the 8 on pretty much anything.

    Thanks- Jace

Most recent model Shimano (8-10s) compatible rear hubs should accomodate your 8s cassette.

  5. Try ebay!

Xero Lite XSR 3 are on my OCR 1 and they are fast. And I have Ksyrium SLs and Campagnolo Eurus wheels too.
