need recommendations for cheap wheel set

Some good prices there, I know my Trek 1000 is an 8 in the rear, is there any specific type of wheel set I need to purchase, or will I be able to fit the 8 on pretty much anything.

Most recent model Shimano (8-10s) compatible rear hubs should accomodate your 8s cassette.

Xero Lite XSR 3 are on my OCR 1 and they are fast. And I have Ksyrium SLs and Campagnolo Eurus wheels too.
