Neighborhood Beast (Dog) Spray!!!

Does anyone know of a decent all around pepper/chemical spray that is not to damaging to the budget? I ride a lot in my neighborhood for both work and pleasure and I have been chased several times by dogs. When you are riding on the streets it is hard to get away from dogs as you have to mind traffic and sometimes have to slowdown or stop for lights.

i have been chased a few times by dogs, and **** them things are fast.
i duno of any peper sprays, but if u have a bike pump use that.

Most dogs let you go once you are out of their territory. But if they keep chasing you, I've found a shot of water (from my water bottle) in the eye does the trick. Pepper spray is tricky to always have handy, and dangerous to you.

I decided once to just let the dogs chase me, and see what happens, and not once have I been bitten. They seem to just want to run after you yelling, "Get out of my hood!" That's all.
