Hello everyone,

A friend of mine told me a that a faster way to learn stunts/techniques on a bike is to have a good bike. I used to find that funny, but now I think back, it is true afterall. Good bikes have better frame design and better parts for performance. So I just wanted to know what you guys think of it.

Thanks.

New bikes give you a moral boost and they are usually lighter and more comfortable so it is easyer. but a bike class would really help you...

Starting on an old clunky bike is a great way to build you up before stepping up to some uber-wheels. Pedal a 50 pounder around for a few months and then get yourself a nice bike. You'll be glad you did since you wont suffer as much.

Yeah, I used to fell very good and comfortable on my Hardrock. Now, I just fell that I need more brake power. Hope I have enough money for the P.2 next year.........

As far as stunts go, you shouldn't start learning on anything you can't afford to break.
