New bike (in box) goes on road trip

I purchased a bike from NYC, to be shipped to NM. It left NYC, went to NJ, ended up going back to the Cannondale Manufacturer, back to the bike shop,...and is now supposed to be shipped next day air by UPS, because of the screw up. He must be so scared in that dark box.
