According to the Campy rumor mill--in this case it's the Campy Only! blog--Campy will be showing, at Eurobike, their new e-gruppo which will be available in 2011. We'll see. After all, it's just a rumor. If it's true, it'll be interesting to see what they bring to the table. They've played with the e-gruppo thing for quite a while now, and they've also had time to tear apart and analyze what Shimano's done. If true, how will it differ from Shimano's electro group? Will it be 10 spd or 11? Will it have the cumbersome battery placement of Shimano?

While I'm not really sold on the idea of an e-gruppo, it is interesting that such a gruppo could easily incorporate a power meter. In fact, one knowledgeable soul has "suggested" that Shimano has or is looked at that very aspect.

Heard this from a shimano rep, of all people. It's going to be compared to Di2, so it better be pretty good.
