Hey, this is my first post, and first time ever really getting into cycling. I am interested in vintage bikes and am restoring an old Royce Union I got for 20 dollars. It is a 10 speed with very little rust, I re-taped the bars and replaced some odds and ends but I am considering making it a singlespeed. I never really switch gears due to my past experience in bmx and I sort of like the simplicity of a singlespeed bike. Can anybody give me pros/cons and advice for fixing a bike and single or multi speeds . I am really lost and just want any advice at all about anything really!
