Hi guys!!! I am a new member. Am from Cape Town, South Africa. Have been travelling for the last 4 years and now kind of settled down in Turkey. Just got my road bike sent over. Any suggestions of starting to train after 4 years.

Start riding again! Begin gradually. Ride often. When you are comfortable with your riding and have gotten to comfortably doing 40-50 km rides, with a couple of 1000 kms under your belt, decide what your objectives are: simply riding, racing, etc.

On that basis spend some time putting together a training plan that suits what you are hoping to accomplish.

    Above all, just ride!
