I am replacing my old Klein Quantum Race. My local bike shop has 2 nice framesets in my size. Price is the same. They are not assembled yet and therefor I cannot test them.

1. Specialized Tarmac Pro SL (2010)

2. Beone Raw (2012)

Anyone familiar with these bikes? Comfort or speed? Quality? The Beone is lighter but I am unfamiliar with the brand. Hope you guys/girls can give me some advice.

BeOne is a Dutch company. No idea where their frames are made. The Tarmac frame is made in Taiwan.

Ask your shop about the warranty on the BeOne. You know what you're getting, warranty-wise, with the Tarmac.

BeOne looks cool to me, just based on their online catalog and some quick reviews I saw. Might be worth a closer look. I like it just because it's not a Tarmac, it's something special, at least here in the US. And it's two years newer. I'd want to ask about where the 2010 Tarmac has been stored. Is your LBS is a dealer for both brands? If not, customer support might tip the decision.
