Mycycletour.com just went live a few weeks ago. Good site for people planning trips and for sharing experiences. Needs more content but that will come soon when more people become aware. I believe it will support KML I'm future so you can load routes into a mobile device while you are riding (iPhone or garmin GPS etc). Check it out.

KML would work with ? i think KMZ are those in google earth, then you have the GPX, Polar HRM, TCX Activity files ? depending on the GPS device that you use, im trying to learn here since i started using a website offering the services you mention,
