  1. Back in December/Jan there was a thread about kudos to RMC for fitting
their cement trucks with mirrors and electronic sensors and training
their drivers to avoid squashing cyclists when turning left.

This morning I was pointed to the following by the London Cycle Campaign
which puts it in an entirely different light (particularly the bit in
    italics at the bottom)

The best that can be said is that they realised they couldn't keep
    getting away with it.

The addendum by Cynthia Barlow has left me stunned. I'm completely
    lost for words.

  3. Thanks for pointing that out Tony. Very upsetting, especially the addendum.

I've emailed Peter over at VeloVision, who also ran a link to the STW story.

I'm not registered at singletrackworld - I think someone who is should add a comment on the end of their article linking to the City Cyclists story. It certainly looks like there was some 'spin' in the original press release.

I've e-mailed Mark at Singletrack to point it out. I'll go back and add
    a comment.
