New Years visit from the whoosh fairy

Hello all and Happy 2004 to all of you.

Congrats to all the losers and maintainers. To all the others hang in there you will hit the turning
point to losing again.

I have not posted my weight losses for a couple of weeks, because I had gained and was so
disappointed in myself. I have continued reading faithfully though, as all you kind words to
everyone helps me immensely.

I feel I have done well, since my weigh in before Thanksgiving until today, I have lost 3.1 lbs.

Here is my breakdown.

11/22 Saturday before Thanksgiving. 290.6
12/29 Saturday after Thanksgiving 292.4 (1.8 gain)
13/6 289.0 (3.4 loss)
14/13 287.7 (1.3 loss)
15/19 289.0 (1.3 gain)
16/27 293.2 (4.2 gain)

and drum roll please...................

17/03 287.5 (5.7 loss)

I knew why I had gained last week (constipation) and also realize why I had a loss this week (no
longer constipated), but I feel good anyway.

Funny thing is I have made it back to my 10% loss again for a total loss of
18.9 lbs. I told my leader that at the scale and she gave me another 10% award during the meeting,
as it has been a long hard struggle for me in the past 3 years and she wanted to acknowledge that
I have stayed with the program through good and bad and am getting myself back on track again. I
have never quit and don't intend to as her support has been tremendous to me and keeps me
motivated to keep going back no matter what the scale might read.

Wow Deb, you have really done fantastic through all the holidays as well as shown a tremendous
amount of perseverance over the years. Good for you for never once walking away over the course. I
am absolutely thrilled for you! Congrats on the superb loss this week.

[email protected]... Hello all and Happy 2004 to all of you.

Congrats to all the losers and maintainers. To all the others hang in = there you will hit the
turning point to losing again.

I have not posted my weight losses for a couple of weeks, because I = had gained and was so
disappointed in myself. I have continued reading faithfully though, as all you kind words to
everyone helps me = immensely.

I feel I have done well, since my weigh in before Thanksgiving until = today, I have lost 3.1 lbs.

Here is my breakdown.

11/22 Saturday before Thanksgiving. 290.6
12/29 Saturday after Thanksgiving 292.4 (1.8 gain)
13/6 289.0 (3.4 loss)
14/13 287.7 (1.3 loss)
15/19 289.0 (1.3 gain)
16/27 293.2 (4.2 gain)

and drum roll please...................

17/03 287.5 (5.7 loss)

I knew why I had gained last week (constipation) and also realize why = I had a loss this week (no
longer constipated), but I feel good anyway.

Funny thing is I have made it back to my 10% loss again for a total = loss of
18.9 lbs. I told my leader that at the scale and she gave me another = 10% award during the
meeting, as it has been a long hard struggle for me = in the past 3 years and she wanted to
acknowledge that I have stayed with the program through good and bad and am getting myself
back on track = again. I have never quit and don't intend to as her support has been
tremendous = to me and keeps me motivated to keep going back no matter what the scale =
might read.

Debbie
