Ok i just got my first road bike today, a Felt F80 '05. I got everyhting i needed, or so i thought. Ive got a floor pump that i use for my mountain bike. When i went to go see if i could pump my road bike tires, i found that the nozel of the pump didnt fit around the tire part. Is there any adapter i can get, or di i have to get a whole new pump?

The valve you have is called a "presta" valve. You can go to any local bike shop and buy an adapter for about a dollar. That way,you can use your floor pump.
Just unscrew the top of the valve(just a turn or two),then screw on the adapter.I definetly recommend getting a portable mini pump for those inevitable on road flats. They generally come able to handle both types of valves.

P.S.-Don't forget to close the top of the pesta valve after you finish filling it,and don't leave the adapter on.Its a tool, remove it when your done.

Happy riding!!:D

you might even get them to give it to you for free if you just bought the bike there.
