Looking for some advice.

I am a road biker / triathlete. I am thinking of trading in my flat-bar road bike (Specialized
Sirrus) that I use on a daily basis for a light mtb. That way I have the flexibility to go off road
/ take bike camping etc. The flat bar is not quite up to the aggressive way I ride the bike anyway.

I have been looking at and saving for a Marin (probably Bobcat) because I like the frame for life
mentality. I know the components are not the best but I can upgrade them as they wear out.

However, I have seen last years Norco Storm going for a very nice price online. I am a little
nervous about buying a bike from the web without being able to sit on it / poke it / fiddle with it
as you do in a shop.

Does anybody have any experience of this steed? Or any other suggestions for a suitable bike for me.

Main uses will be aggresive commuting (10 miles of road and path mix), occasional recreational off
roading (nothing too heavy or technical) and maybe the odd adventure race. I don't like to be in too
upright a position.

Advice taken but not quoted in a court of law :)

Cheers John
