I raced and coached collegiate. Collegiate teams bring in more new racers than any USCF team.

This isn't the real world though. This is rbr. If someone can't take a little ribbing here, there's
little chance they have the will to handle the vagaries of pack riding.

Back in the early 1980s, IIRC, the USCF had a consulting firm do a
psychological profile of the riders it licensed. The result were less than flattering. The better
the racer, the poorer the racer's social skills. Perhaps Casey or Les can dig up the report and
post it for all to chuckle over.
