  1. love the new shimano 105 brake calipers. the best thing is the
    orbitally adjustable pads so you can adjust for zero toe and therefore
    not get grit under them. nice and stiff too.

    i used to think campy were the brake kings, but finally gave up on them
    because their constantly breaking brifters suck so hard. now with these
    new style calipers, i think shimano have campy licked.

    i should also add: they seem to have a stainless spring rather than the
    chromed one of the previous versions. excellent news for us wet weather
    commuters!
