I have seen frequent mention here of Niman Ranch beef, and
have just seen an announcement that some of their products
are sold at Zingerman's Deli in Ann Arbor. Zingerman's Road
House is featuring a Niman Ranch dinner for $50 a head on
June 23, at which founder Bill Niman will speak.
(I have no association with Niman's or with Zingerman's. I
am, however, a native of Ann Arbor.) Larry

Ann Arbor...sigh! While not really a food mecca, I had the
best breakfast sandwich I've ever had at Dimo's. It was
sausage, egg, and cheese on an onion (or maybe garlic?)
bagel. Zingerman's, however, was a huge disappointment in
terms of the food made there. The store, itself, had a lot
of interesting foods, though.
