Swiss Federal authorities have finally not included a mandatory helmet regulation in their new "via sicura" road safety concept :D.

However, increased helmet usage is still included in the list of measures, and might become mandatory if it turns out that the objective of a majority of cyclist wearing helmets cannot be obtained on a voluntary basis :(.

Another measure regarding cyclists is about improved lights, but no details are given  except that the added cost should be about 20 Francs (15 $) per bicycle.
