OK, guys. Let`s establish something: Lance Armstrong is not a saint. Do you believe that a man like him (before 1999 I have never heard about him) can by his forces ONLY win for four time Tour de France? Let`s be serious! It`s impossible! I admit that The Texan is a nice guy, but he dosen`t won Tour de France just with "mineral water". Altrough, he was healed from cancer with some methods that have a heavy impact even now in his performance. In other order of ideas, Lance is not at all a "clean guy" and perhaps he will not win the Tour this year, at least I hope so. Guys like Ullrich or Simoni deserve a victory this year!

You, Sir, are a complete ass. I find attitudes such as you display to be humorous.

Didn't hear of him until 1999??? Don't pay much attention to cycling then, do you?

Mineral water? How about dedication to his profession. Why is it so impossible to believe that he just trains harder and rides smarter than his competition.

Guys like "Ullrich" deserve the victory? Why would that be? Ullrich has actually been CAUGHT taking drugs (you do remember that he just got off suspension for taking ecstasy) and he has shown up to the tour in horrible shape for many years.

Your lack of class, jelousy and ignorance are evident in every anti Lance post you make.

Go troll somewhere else, your ignorance is unwelcome and reflects poorly on you.

As a chiropractor, I think that Mr. Lance is truly the one in a million. He's worked hard and overcome all odds against him. How many others out there have accomplished the same?

When Lance was asked what he takes for his "exceptional" cycling, his answer was "6 - 8 hours on my bike".

    Luciferion, what do you take?

Even if Lance is taking something it is not only him that is taking it. I can be persuaded that say 95% of riders are achiving better results through chemistry, but that does not mean that Lance has an unfair advantage. There are three reasons why I don;t think Lance's fantastic performances have come from doping. First, he was a good rider before 1999. He wasn;t a Grand Tour specialist, but he had ability. Second, after cancer he had the ability to build his body for cycling only. This total breakdown of the human body has unquestionably help lance...Effectivley his body is now perfectly built for cycling (his VO2max numbers were fantastic as a teen, however). Third, he trains harder that anyone else. If Lance has the same advantages...natural talent, drugs, team support as riders like beloki, pantani and ulrich lance is the one who works hard. Riders like Ulrich are famous for eating doughnuts on the couch when Armstrong is training.

I have to reply again. So I agree with opinion like this up there of lazysegall. But, people like mjolnir2k should go somwhere else with his pro USA opinion. You don`t know nothing about cycling and you`re a typical igonarant American and believe me that I`m sick and tired of men like you. (Go and answer to my questions from Road Racing Section)

Wasn't Lance world road champion at 21? Anyone can see he's not just another rider who takes dope, so he can get paid enough to put food on his families table each day.

I think your issue is with America rather than Lance

    Cheers

The whole doping thing is silly. If doping products that are undetectable are now available, then is Lance the ONLY one taking them??? Is that easier to believe than his hard work, careful planning and natural talent? Those 3 things have been routinely documentend while the doping allegation has not.

Armstrong makes no secret about his success - he works harder than his competitors and puts himself in a position to win where the others hope for a crack in his armor and an opportunity to get lucky.

Because he is the only one who can affort it to use. Buddy, if you escape from death, you can escape from anything, don`t you think?

luciferion do you seriously believe that someone who came extremely close to death would do something as stupid as taking drugs that could kill him.
i believe that cancer actually helped lance improve in the mountains. he was a bit bulky on top before (probably from his triathlon days) but that all went due to his loss of muscle during his recovery.

stop knocking someone who is a hero to many less fortunate than ourelves .

Yea I think the TROLL has some serious denial problems...

I think if we leave him alone he will go away and we can seriously talk about the stats and odds of who can win and how it can happen.

I think Armstrong's biggest hurdle is exactly what happened today... Last year it was the flat tire on stage 8? that scared everyone...

Now he was in the crash today and bounced on his hip... How will this affect him? Tylor H and Levi L. look like they are out...

It looks like a tought year for the Americans...

    John...
