I was just reading an article in the local spewspaper and at first I
didn't know what they were talking about. They were referring to people
showing discriminatory behavior based on BMI. High BMI people should
not have to face this type of judgement in our society.

In this NG, I would recognise the BMI acronym immediately but in context
with the article it took a minute. Fat or overweight is no longer PC
and shouldn't be used in reference. It is a person with a high BMI now.

So now me and that other guy with the high BMI in my office are the same
only he gets to eat lots and lots of burgers and fries.

Actually the correct term is "circumferentially challenged".
