My current chain derailleur setup is for a 25 tooth Shimano cassette. I wish to also use a 27 tooth
cassette on a second set of wheels. When using the 27cog rear & the 39 chain ring up front there
seems to be noise from the pulley wheels making contact with the 27 tooth cog. Do I need more chain
or can the derailler be ajusted away from the 27 tooth cog? Thanks!

Try adjusting the B tension on the der.

Screw the little screw on the rear der where it mounts to the frame all the way
in)b limit screw). If this doesn't help, may need one link LESS chain, to rotate the rear der
cage/pulley AWAY from the cog. Be careful you have enough chain for big/big combo tho.
