Hi,

Today I have ride my Trek 3900 in the heavy rain and when I have returned to my home I found that my bike is making noise when I move the handlebar.
Any idea why the noise is making.

Thanks.

I am going to take a leap and say it is your front axle skewer. I ride in the rain a lot and had a similar experience. Even when standing over the bike while not moving, applying pressure up and down in the drops would make a creaking noise.

Initially as the noise was hard to really pinpoint other than being on the front half of the bike, me and my mechanic troubleshot for hours - loosening, cleaning, greasing, and tightening everything imaginable from the crankset (it happened a lot on standing climbs) to stem and handlebars, and then one of the temp guys in the shop suggested greasing the front skewer from end to end then sliding back into the hub.

The "handlebar" noise dissapperared instantly.

Maybe this will help.
