Hey folks! Though I ended up with a KHS folding bike, I did consider the
"Norco Origami." http://www.jvbike.com/bikes/Origami.htm

I wanted to post this bit of info on it as there may be others looking at it
and finding as little info as I did. A dealer sent this email to me:

Hope this is helpful to someone - it looked like a very nice bike for the
price & quite light weight. (note: prices are Canadian dollars; visit
www.xe.com for currency conversion)

Hello,

Norco does not provide any specs except saying that the bike is exclusively
made for them. The bike is made in China, it is aluminium frame; it's a
very well made frame, very good and stiff folding joint; the weight 22 lbs
(9.97 kg) measured on my scale (as I said Norco does not provide any specs,
although they are saying that the load capacity is better than Dahon's, i.e.
it should be at least 230 lbs) Components are decent and at the same level
or above Dahon Impulse 6 components (Shimano shifter vs. Sram; derailleur
protector, etc.) Stem on Dahon is stiffer, at least my impression. The
frame geometry provides more cruiser style riding comparing to Dahon. Gear
ratios are I think the same.

Our price is $350 until the and of May and then it will go to $450. Norco's
suggested price is $520 for 6 speed and $480 for the single speed. (Our
single speed price is $310, and $415 after May 31st)
