Northern VA rides (Leesburg, Purcellville, Ashburn, Sterling, Herndon, Reston, etc.)

I train by myself mostly but lately I have been looking for a club or group to start training with. I regularly bike 40 mile to 70 mile routes around the Northern VA area.

This is a ride I did recently, but with the weather getting cold and the wind conditions I haven't been out on the road as much.

Anyone know any groups or is anyone else looking to find someone to ride with.

I don't live in VA, but I do visit Leesburg a couple times per month. I usually only ride on the W&OD. The one time I took to the roads down there, I had WV folk trying to run me off the road. That being said, I'm still a noob cyclist and so far I've only ridden 30 miles at a time.

I live in Leesburg, nice town. The w&od is nice but it doesn't offer the distance that I need to be riding. I usually ride to Purcellville and back (20mi) once or twice a week. But I prefer to get out towards old blueridge rd by mount weather. That is the only local climbs. I need to look at Maryland too which I haven't done yet.
