I just bought Northwave Aerator race shoes. I will be trying them on trainer next week (minus 35 degrees here!!). I was wondering what you guys, gals, were thinking of the shoes. It's the first time I will be riding shoes with the ratchet thing. Always had straps. For now, in the house, they feel tighter and "feels" like they will hold the foot better. But in real life, is the ratchet reliable in the long run?
