There is a new model of NW shoes that look like they are very similar
to the Aerator shoe (Valverde, Boonen, et. al.) and I have tried the
Aerator 3 and the ratchet model (infinite adjustment) and they fit my
feet better than any other shoes. They have all of the features I want
(one piece heel / arch compression like the DMT and early Sidi shoes).
The compromise is that instead of nylon and ti mesh for ventilation,
there is no venting on the uppers. This is am increasing trend that I
don't understand (DMT Flash and Kyoma plus the Nike versions of the
same shoes). The Aerator has a model that has metallic finish to assist
the vent in the uppers. The revenge with no vents is mostly black. I do
have black and white shoes and in this very hot climate it makes a huge
difference in comfort.
Am I worried for no reason? The Revenge are half the price and look
identical to the Aerator other than the venting and light (heat)
refection finish.
Any comments based on experience?
