Has anyone cycled the Norwegian coast between Narvik and Bodo? If so are all the road tunnels open
to cyclists? I'm likely to be coming back that way after my trip to the Lofotens. There is supposed
to be a tunnel guide for cyclists but I can't find anywhere to order it on line.

Thanks

(Unfortunately, I'm not familiar at all with the Narvik-Bodø road.)

With some work all your questions regarding the tunnels could be answered by visiting this site:
http://www.visveg.no/visveg/ . Just click on the option "Vegfagdata" (fourth one from the top),
check "Sykkeltunneler" in the frame that appears, and start zooming and paning along your intended
route. Road tunnels on the map will appear as green (open) or red (closed).

I got my copy (ca. 1997) of the tunnel guide from the National Bicycle Association at
http://www.slf.no (email at [email protected]).
