  1. I came across an offer to purchase NOS tubulars. They are in
new, never used condition, but are 10 years old. These were
    nice tires, back then.

Is using these tires a bad idea? I already know what has
happened to my 10 year old USED tires.

    Thanks and regards,

    Rob

I think I would pass on them. (10 years of sitting in the garage or furnace room can't possibly do the rubber any good...)

In 1994 Al Qaeda was a guy hung out at your local bar, Yahoo
was something that cowboys said, High speed was 19.2Kbps and
Broadband was a derogatory term for female entertainment.

What was it you asked about those ancient tires?

I'd want to see them first. I recently bought n.o.s. genuine
Italian ParisRoubaix in perfect condition, sealed in plastic
    for twenty years.

I've seen others dried out, frayed and useless.

If they've been kept boxed in the dark they may be OK. I've
had some extremely good Specialized folders from *bay.
