  1. Can anyone advise about nutrition for memory &
    concentration?

After a several years of ill health I find my memory &
concentration are shot. Long term memorys fine, short term
memorys dreadful, concentration zilch, dream recall
    appalling.

People keep telling me its my 'age' (female, early forties).
This maybe but I'm alarmed at just how bad these cognitive
symptoms are. My diets reasonable - plenty of fresh fruit,
salads and veg, homemade soups, good fish intake (which
surpasses my lean meat portions), cold pressed oils etc.

Is there anything I can do nutritionally to improve things?

  2. Talk to you doctor about this. This could be side effects of
    medications you are on.

As far as doing anything nutritionally, you're out of luck.
There is no magic pill or special food that will help you.

Thanks Jeff. Unfortunately I can't put it down to medication
as I'm not taking any. I've spoken to the Doc about this but
he's one of those who tell me 'It's your age'. If I'm like
this in my early 40's, heaven help me if I get to reach 80!
