Obscure bike name and uncertain origins: Rollmar

Anyone on this board familiar with Rollmar, a European brand bike? I
picked one up on E-Bay recently on the cheap, mainly because it looked
like an interesting and not too difficult restoration project.
Judging by the materials and manufacturing (lugged steel) and some of
the componentry (e.g., rod brakes, huge-ass white Brooks saddle,
generator lamps, etc.) I am guessing that this bike was manufactured
in the 60s perhaps. It appears to be an Italian brand ("Rollmar
Bicicleta" says the decal--or is that Spanish?), but has a mix of
parts from all over western Europe--German generator lamps, Sachs
Torpedo rear hub (English), Nisi (Italian?) rims, Italian-made cranks
and seatpost, Michelin English-made tires (apparently) and Austrian
tubes--a real mongrel, in other words. But it's got a certain
flair--fully enclosed chain casing, big swoopy fenders front and back,
and those cool, if somewhat ineffective, rod brakes. Paint, decals,
and chrome are all in great condition, but tires are terminally
    dry-rotted.

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place, but Google doesn't turn up
anything useful. Can anyone here shed light on this old dog?

    Thanks,
    Ralph in Austin

    Hi
as far as I know Rollmar was the previous name of Mara Cicli (http://www.maracicli.it/home.html).
It's an Italian bike made in Busto Arsizio (near Varese).

    ciao
    Alex
