usual commute this morning consisted of:

Tailwind!

less traffic than normal (people planning for a 'big session' tonight???)

lots of courteous drivers!!! (even a semi driver waited as i apporached from almost 100m away)

6 fixies spotted (inc *****in il Pompino)

I think i need to lie down now...

You must be going in the opposite direction to me, eh?

23.5km/h average.

One van driver who overtook me, despite me being in the middle of the
lane, just in time to get back in the lane before the traffic
"calming" device, whereupon he braked suddenly and went right without
indicators on. And then proceeded to wonder why there was a heavily
sarcastic cyclist behind him saying "thanks mate!".

Next time I ride on the extreme right hand side of the lane.

Come to CM! With your fixie, I hope.

I probably won't stay for long, or for a pub afterwards, I think some
guys here are going out.
