    Racing age 40

    77kg (range from 76-78)
Current FTP roughly 300W, high over the last 2 years has been 325. That's all at 6000 - 8000' elevation though.

Pre-2005 when I lived at sea level, FTP ranged from 325 - 350, weight ranged from 78-81kg.

These are all power tap numbers.

BTW, I coach one guy who is 59 who can generally outdo my W/kg.

40 years young this past November
    354 ftp
    85 kilos
    riding since June of '06

Funny to read the disclaimers, coulda-woulda-shouldas and excuses for guys' weight and power figures.

Gee, I had no idea I was old:confused: I'm faster than I've ever been? I figured once my numbers started heading the other direction, then I'd be 'old'.

Cat 1, 41, 61kg give or take a kg, 300W or so, +/- 10W on my trusty 'Tap.

    55 Years old
    77 KG
    365 FTP
Nerve injury last 5+ years and only did TTs (could not make hard accellerations; going steady was okay) but physical therapy has resolved things only in the past couple of months -- always happy to share training and race logs with whomever asks.
    Best,

LOL, my friend you may not realize it now but I've probably done you a big favor. In not listing all your excuses for not yet being in the condition you would like to be in, maybe now you'll be more inclined to "git 'er done" and not fall back on reasons, excuses, rationalizations, minimizations, etc...for not gittin' er done. Peace...:)

I guess you haven't read the "Killing Me" thread. Tyson's FTP and weight are chronicled in no less than 1K+ posts.:D

    Correction: make that 1600+ posts.

LOL RD, however, I wouldn't inflict 1615 posts an 108 pages on anyone just to find someone's FTP.:D

As for honesty TiMan, my divulged figures are honest to within 1 watt. assuming the trainers in the gym are accurate. When I get my new trainer and little dolly, I shall publish revised (hopefully upwards) figures.;) TYSON

Meantime, as I say, I'm far too young to be posting in here!:p
