Old guys FTP

Age: 57

Weight: 72kg

FTP: 265w

Seems like I've been stuck at 265w for quite a while. I'd love to see closer to 300w but maybe 265 is all I'm capable of? Still, I can give the cat 4's fits, and if I'm feeling good I can sometimes hang with the 3's.

Ok, I turned 40 yesterday so now I'm officially an "Old guy" :D

Age: 40
Weight: 67-68kg (148-150lbs)
FTP: 225W (+5W from the previous post)

Shooting for 250W / 62.5kg by the end of August when my A race of the year is scheduled.

Well, I dunno if I qualify as a full-fledged geezer, but when I want a serious @ss-whupping I do sometimes race against the Geritol set so: 36 y.o., 65kg, 300w a few months ago. Would be happier at 64kg and 320w (or 63 and 315 - I'm not picky,) should get there by my late season targets.

As far as kicking young @ss - my Masters races are always harder than my E3 ones. Geezers are mad crafty, too - when you line up against somebody with rainbows on their cuffs, you know they aren't going to work unless it's going to count. And when they do decide to work, get ready for the pain.

Age: 42

Only been doing the power thing for about 6 weeks (started at 221w), want to be around 74 Kg and 290 watts by October.

I am the winner! (unfortunately it is of the heaviest old guy contest).

Heck I was happy to just break 90kg this morning after my 3000 KJ fat burner ride yesterday. I managed 304 Watts on my hour test on Monday at 91+ kg.

So that makes it:

I'm new, with limited PT data. If I input into the monod critical power calculator my current best for 1min, 3min, 6min, and 20min, I get an estimated 60min of 301. Next week I do some 8min. So for now:
