Hi,

I was wondering whether anyone would know what sort of STI lever (old or new/Shimano or Campag) would be compatiable with an old Shimano 105 7 speed SIS system so that they can be retrofitted on.

Any comments and information welcome.

Best Regards,

Eugene

Shimano Sora 7 speed. Campy 8 speed, but you also have to use a compatible campy RD.

i looked at a similar retro-fit, and heres what i found that was somewhat cost effective.

new shimano 7and8 speed STI levers are still available in the SORA line.
not the best, but not terribly expensive. i found them new for $125.
7s is less available, 8s is easier to find. use 7-of-8 with the 8-speed levers.
