    Only if, a: the thread's right, and b: there's the outside thread for a lockring. Otherwise if you stop pedalling the cog will unscrew and fall off...

    I know what your saying, but I don't use lockrings anyhow. I race on the velodrome and I've never needed to use lockrings. Thanks anyhow🙂

    Don't they have scrutineering any more... ? :-)
    Back in the day, I wouldn't have been allowed out on the track without a lockring.

    They only use them on tandems, nothing else.
