  1. Hey fellas & ladies,

Don't forget tonight (SAT 14) on SBS at 7.30pm the Mens Road Race in Athens.

I can still remember that same race in Sydney 4 yrs ago as if it was
yesterday when Jan Ullrich took first position...didn't know who the others
    were though......

Even though I'm not normally into cycle racing as such, Sydney Olympic road
cycling race was awesome, (was there live in many locations) although I did
feel rather sorry for the girls as their race was on a crapper(wet and soggy
as seen on TV)) of a day..lots of skin left on the bitumen .

    GO AUSSIES........OI OI OI............................................hehehe
    sorry...couldn't resist!!

I've gotta say, the scenery in Athens leaves Sydney for dead.

I don't know; there's some pretty archaic buildings in Sydney ;-)

  4. Only problems is the closeness of the buildings, meaning more chopper shots
    than usual

I dunno about that, Ive been watching the broadcast and i don't see

anything so great about the scenery there......some good twists though.

You obviously haven't been into Centenial Park where the riders went through
the middle after comming down from Bronte then through Moore Parke where the
Fox Movie studios are, or the old Showground, and then you have Bronte down
by the beach...how much scenic do you want it? Centenial Park is a cyclist
haven where they can ride in a approx 4.5km circuit and not have to worry
too much about traffic, It's got something for everyone.
