Is there anyone who understands the NSW Cycling Grading policy?
I am now an A grader. Yet my licence says E grade. At Open events where there is no grading except Elite, and the levels of Masters, I have to race Elite.
Yet when there is an Open where there is an E grade. I can race that! I was told that I need to get a certain amount of points to move up a grade.
Last year, I scored 2 wins and a 2nd in E-grade. The second was because I faked a knee injury so I could race E-grade in my Club's open, and I didn't want to attract attention.
I don't mind racing E grade, but I thought it is a bit starnge how the NSW grades it's riders!
